Jasmina Đokić (1967) was born in Sarajevo, where she graduated from the Secondary music school in the class of professor Zrinka Gavrić. Later on she studied piano at the Music Academy in Sarajevo and 1990 she earned her university degree in the class of professor Milica Šnajder-Huterer.

As a student, and later as a professor, she participated in many piano competitions. In 1989 she began to work at the Elementary music school “Mladen Pozajić”, where she also spent her war days.

From 1996 until 2000 she worked at the Music school “Herceg Novi”, where she achieved exceptional successes with her disciples, participating in many Republican, federal and international competitions.

From 2000 she reestablished a working relationship in the Elementary music school “Mladen Pozajić”, where she works till today.

As a truly dedicated teacher she won with her students, also here numerous awards at many Yugoslav, federal and international competitons. She participated as a jury member of various piano competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
